Light and fluffy, perfect for lazy Sunday mornings. 


Here is the prescription:

material:


- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

- 1 tsp salt

- 1 tablespoon white sugar

- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk

- 1 egg

- 3 tbsp melted butter

- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence


Tips for beginners:

- Use a coated pan or griddle to bake pancakes to prevent them from sticking or burning.
- Use a ladle or measuring cup to pour the batter into the pan/grill to form evenly sized pancakes. - Flip the pancakes when the surface starts to bubble and the edges begin to dry.

1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large mixing bowl.

2. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract. 3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined (do not overmix the dough).

4. Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.

Five. Using a ladle or measuring cup, pour batter onto pan/grill (about 1/4 cup per pancake).

6. Bake pancakes for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden and cooked through.
