Here's an easy and delicious banana bread recipe.
Material:
- 2-3 ripe bananas, crushed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- Options:
1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips
procedure:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 5 inch bread pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar and vanilla extract. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
3. Add baking soda and salt to the mixture and stir until dissolved.
4. Gradually add the flour to the mixture, stirring after each addition. Mix until well blended. Do not overmix as this can cause the bread to thicken.
5. Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for added texture and flavor, if desired.
6. Pour in the milk and mix until the dough is smooth.
7. Pour the batter into a greased pan and smooth it out with a spatula.
8. Bake in preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes or until clean with a toothpick inserted in the center.
9. Once baked, remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool in the mold for about 10 minutes.
